The NDCL Varsity Football program officially announces their 2024 regular season schedule, playing ten games. The Lions will host five home games at Lion Stadium, with their home opener on August 30th versus Ashtabula Lakeside.
They will open the 2024 season on the road at Riverside on August 23rd. The Lions fell to the Beavers at home last season 14-3. Under first-year head coach Andre Griffin, the Varsity squad will look to get their season started on the right foot.
The Varsity Lions will host Gilmour Academy for the 2024 Homecoming Game on September 13th. They will play rival Lake Catholic on their home turf this season on October 25th for Senior Night. NDCL Varsity Football will travel to North Royalton
High School for a rare Thursday night matchup on October 3rd to face Holy Name.
Football will take on future North Coast Conference (NCC) foes Holy Name, Padua Franciscan, and Lake Catholic this season. NCC football competition will officially begin during the 2025 season.
