Eight Lions from Girls Lacrosse earn all-NCC honors

Campolieti wins DPOY, Malone named COY

Eight Lions from the NCC Champion NDCL Girls Lacrosse team earn all-conference honors for the 2026 season. Head Coach Pamela Malone and junior goalie Fallon Campolieti made headlines receiving Coach of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.  

Campolieti
, the second year starting goalie, recorded 126 saves this season on 212 shots for a save percentage of 59. Her consistency, athleticism, and strong presence in goal guided the Lions to a 12-3 record with one of the conference's top defenses.  

Head Coach Pamela Malone was named NCC Coach of the Year. The Lions had a season for the record books under Malone's leadership
in her second season as head coach. This season, NDCL won its first conference title, set multiple team and individual records, and defeated some of the area's top teams. Girls Lacrosse finished the regular season 12-3, the best record in school history. The team's motto this season was "Purpose", and Malone motivated the Lions to do just that.  

Campolieti
, Macey Beers, Maggie Kane, and Ava Downing were all named to first team all-NCC. Beers led the Lions this season in goals (57), shot percentage (57), and points (72). She tied her teammate and fellow first-teamer Maggie Kane for a team-high of 15 assists. Beers also recorded a team-high of 38 ground balls this season and won 90 of her 141 draws. Kane followed Beers with an impressive 37 goals this season, 15 assists, 52 points, and 37 ground balls. Beers and Kane were NDCL's one-two midfielder punch this season on offense. Ava Downing, one of the leaders of NDCL's defense, recorded a team best 11 caused turnovers and picked up 26 ground balls.  

Meredith Gerbitz, Lily Fakult, and Elizabeth Keefe brought home second team all-conference honors. Gerbitz had a terrific s
ophomore season at attack, finishing as the team's third leading scorer with 25 goals and six assists for a total of 31 points. Lily Fakult scored 11 goals this season and logged 19 ground balls. Elizabeth Keefe contributed heavily on both sides of the field this season with 10 goals and nine assists on offense. Defensively, she corralled 37 ground balls and caused five turnovers.  

Leah Szmania and Morgan Gerbitz received honorable
mention all-conference honors. Szmania recorded 19 ground balls and caused five turnovers for the Lions defense. Gerbitz added 10 ground balls and caused three turnovers of her own.
