Congratulations to Girls Varsity Volleyball, the 2024 DIII District Champions! This is Varsity Volleyball's sixth consecutive district championship under 17-year head coach Tom Ray. 

The Lions defeated the number four seed Kenston 3-1 in the district championship to claim the title.  

Leading the way for the Lions was freshman Frankie Brkic. The freshman outside hitter tallied a team-high 17 kills to go along with 19 digs. Setters Grace Daniels and Selena Moissis combined for 40 assists in the game. Junior libero Abby Tolin notched a team-high 22 digs with three aces. Senior Ava Hills had a team and season-high seven blocks. Senior Grace Gaeta contributed another all-around game for the Lions this season with five kills, three digs, four blocks, and two assists. McKenna Morrison added eight kills and 12 digs of her own.

The Lions will play a familiar North Coast Conference opponent in CVCA in the regional semifinal on Thursday, October 31st at 6:00 PM. CVCA and NDCL enter the regional semifinal game as the 15th and sixth seeds in the bracket. The Lions swept the Royals during the regular season. The regional tournament will take place at Norwalk High School.
