Girls Basketball participates in Cavs Elite Hoops Series

On Wednesday, January 8th, as part of the Cavs Elite High School Hoops Series, the Girls Varsity Basketball team took the court at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of playing on the home court of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lions won their matchup with Garfield Heights in a thrilling 55-51 game that came down to the wire with a minute to go in the fourth quarter. After the Lion's victory on the big stage, the team enjoyed dinner and watched the highly anticipated Cavs versus Thunder game that evening.

What an incredible opportunity and unforgettable night for the girls basketball program!
