NDCL is pleased to announce the hiring of
Blake Jerome to the Athletic Department staff as the Coordinator of Sport Performance.
Jerome brings over five years of experience in the field of strength and conditioning, complimented by a two-year career as an assistant collegiate wrestling coach. His deep understanding of strength and conditioning programming along with his passion for improving student-athlete performance makes him a valuable addition to the NDCL Athletics program.
"I am extremely proud to be serving the NDCL community with this position," said Jerome. "I am eager to strengthen the Sports Performance department and contribute to our athlete's success and safety."
Blake Jerome comes to NDCL from Spire Academy in Geneva, where he served as a strength and conditioning coach for the Men's and Women's Wrestling teams, Men's and Women's Soccer teams, and the Men's Lacrosse team for the past two years. He conducted individualized player assessments, monitored and tracked athletic progress using performance data, and worked closely with athletic trainers and medical staff to design return-to-play protocols for athletes. Postgraduate, he served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Mercyhurst University, followed by a position with Industrial Capability Services as a strength test administrator. Jerome also spent one year as the assistant wrestling coach and head of the wrestling program's strength and conditioning at Colby Community College.

Jerome holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Heidelburg University. In his senior year, he served as a strength and conditioning intern at Tiffin University and assisted in the programming and coaching of 13 NCAA DII athletic teams. He also holds a CSCS Certification (Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach) and a USAw Sports Performance Level 1 Certification.
NDCL is excited to have Blake as a part of the NDCL Athletics staff and for the continued progression, development, and success of NDCL's Sport Performance program under his leadership.
He is currently working with our fall athletes and beginning offseason training sessions with our spring and winter sports teams.
