BOYS TENNIS
vs Padua (4/27)- Boys Varsity Tennis picked up a big conference win over Padua 5-0. Boys JV Tennis lost 0-3 at Beachwood.
vs Twinsburg JV (4/28)- Boys Varsity Tennis fell 0-5 to Twinsburg on Senior Night. The team's four seniors in Christian Bittner, Rook Eckert, Magdalena Miocic, and Alex Russell were recognized before the start of the match.
vs Elyria Catholic (4/30)- Boys Tennis lost 1-4 in a NCC battle with Elyria Catholic at home.
SOFTBALL
at CVCA (4/27)- Varsity Softball rolled past conference opponent CVCA on the road 9-1. Alex Mould eclipsed the 500-career strikeout milestone with a season-high 16 strikeouts in the game. Maya Rowan and Lily Rader posted identical stat lines, both going 2-4, hit a double, and had two RBI each. Sienna Steinmetz and Bella Wooke contributed two hits apiece, and Alex Mould and Becca Wooke both logged one hit. Congratulations to senior pitcher Alex Mould on reaching 500-career strikeouts and counting.
vs CVCA (4/30)- Varsity Softball defeated CVCA 6-5 on a walk off single in the bottom of the eighth inning by Sienna Steinmetz. The game was the completion of a suspended contest due to inclement weather from March 31st. Bella Wooke and Sadie Wurm posted identical stat lines in the game, both with 2-4 hits, one run, and one RBI. Lily Rader also logged two hits and two runs. Becca Wooke, Sophie Hoge, and Sienna Steinmetz all contributed one hit and one RBI each; Steinmetz's hit being the game winner. Alex Mould matched her season-high in back-to-back games with 16 strikeouts. The Lions improved 6-3 in conference play and 12-5 overall with four games left in the regular season. Varsity Softball will be back in action on Tuesday, May 5th hosting Lake Catholic on Senior Night.
BASEBALL
vs University School (4/28)- Varsity Baseball defeated University School 5-0 at home for their third straight win. Jack Montague got the win on the mound for the Lions. Montague recorded a career-high of 10 strikeouts, no earned runs, and just four opponent hits. He also contributed offensively with a hit and an RBI. Jason Rook logged the Lions' second of two hits in the game and scored a run. Zach Unetic, Evan Eichas, and Charlie Capretta all tallied one RBI each in the win.
vs Cardinal (4/30)- Varsity Softball shutout Cardinal 10-0 at home to win their season series against the Huskies 2-0. Ben Novak and Keenan Ryans led the Lions with two hits on three at-bats, one run, and two RBI each in the game. Joey Mazzolini tallied two hits and one run, and Aiden McCord, Lucas Marlow, Braeden Ryan, and Aaron Hackney all contributed a hit. Hackney also tied Ryans and Novak for a team-high two RBI. Aiden McCord got the start and the win on the mound with six strikeouts, no earned runs, and just four hits in four innings pitched.
GIRLS LACROSSE
vs St. Vincent-St. Mary (4/27)- Girls Varsity Lacrosse fell 6-13 to SVSM in a non-conference road matchup. Macey Beers tied her season-high with five goals. Her five goals also tied a game-high. Meredith Gerbitz contributed one goal to the score for the Lions.
vs Orange (4/30)- Girls Varsity Lacrosse dominated Orange in an impressive 15-5 victory at home. Macey Beers led the Lions once again with a new career-high of six goals. Meredith Gerbitz tied her season-high of three goals, Julia Martin scored a career-high two goals, Maggie Kane added two, and Olivia Reagan and Elizabeth Keefe contributed one goal each in the team win. Fallon Campolieti had another exceptional night in goal with over seven saves.
at Chagrin Falls (5/2)- Girls Varsity Lacrosse topped Chagrin Falls in a thrilling 7-6 contest on the road. Meredith Gerbitz scored a hat trick for the second straight game, a team-high. Macey Beers, Elizabeth Keefe, Sadie Beers, and Maggie Kane all contributed one goal each to the score. The Lions improved to 11-3 on the season and 6-0 in conference play. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, May 5th at Lake Catholic and will look to clinch a conference title.
BOYS LACROSSE
vs Cleveland Heights (4/27)- Boys Varsity Lacrosse got back in the win column with a commanding 15-2 victory over Cleveland Heights at home. Ryder Gorman recorded a new career high of five goals in the game. Alex Jaworski followed with a hat trick and a season-high of three goals. Canyon Yeager and Cullen Purcell scored two goals each, and Jason Rossi, Joey Penny, and Josh Gucciardo all contributed one goal apiece.
vs Holy Name (4/28)- Boys Varsity Lacrosse fell 3-12 to conference opponent Holy Name at home. The Lions were led by Cullen Purcell with a team-high of two goals scored in the game. Will Paskevich followed with one goal of his own to the score. The Varsity Lions moved to 2-2 in conference play and 5-7 overall. Boys JV Lacrosse lost 2-15 to Chardon.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
vs VASJ (4/28)- Boys Volleyball fell in a five-set heartbreaker to VASJ at home. The Lions won the first two sets 25-18 and 25-20 and lost the next three sets 16-25, 27-29, and 10-15 to the Vikings. It was a hard-fought match by both teams as NDCL came up just short in the end in a great battle.
at Berkshire (4/30)- Boys Volleyball snapped their five-match losing streak with an impressive reverse sweep win over Berkshire 3-2. The Lions dropped the first two sets to Berkshire 25-27 and 20-25. NDCL came back to win the third set 25-21, took the fourth set 25-18, and dominated the fifth set 15-6. It was an exciting team effort victory for the Boys Volleyball team on the road. The Lions moved to 3-7 on the season with three matches remaining in the regular season.

vs Edgewood (5/3)- Varsity Flag Football fell 6-36 to Edgewood. Girls JV Flag Football lost 0-13 to Berkshire. Varsity Flag Football will play in their final game of the regular season at Gilmour Academy on Thursday evening.
