Keith Abood

Coach Abood is in his fourth season with the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions hockey team.
Abood was an assistant coach with Saint Ignatius High School from 2009-2012 and was an assistant coach when they won their state championship in 2010.
Abood was the Hockey Director at the Cleveland Skating Club for 23 years up until 2019.
He is the all-time leading score at Shaker Heights High School earning All-Ohio honors and was a three-time Cleveland Plain Dealer all-scholastic selection.
Abood then went to play Division I hockey at Kent State University, where he currently holds the record for most points by a defenseman having scored five goals and 31 assists in the 1981-1982 season.
After graduation from Kent State University in 1983, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and later received his honorable discharge.
Abood has four children. His father Myron was class of 1946 from Cathedral Latin and his daughter, Clare, graduated from NDCL in 2018.
