A native of Abergele, Wales, Knight played for the Wales National Team for the U16 through U19 teams. Collegiately, he played for Notre Dame College for four seasons (2008-11). During that time, the Falcons went 67-7-4 and appeared in three national tournaments including a national final. Knight, a defender, was a three-time team captain who ranks among career leaders in games played and started.
After graduating from NDC with a degree in business and marketing, he spent a season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Falcons. He then went on to coach with the Cleveland United Soccer Club program (now Cleveland Force) from 2014 to 2018, coaching both boys and girls teams from U11 to U17.
Knight, who is employed by Progressive Insurance, currently lives in Euclid with his wife Kara.
