BRAVES FALL IN WEEK ONE TO WESTERVILLE SOUTH
Olentangy dropped their opener to Westerville South, 30-7. Junior Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer finished the night 26-for-43 passing for 210 yards and a touchdown. Last Friday was the coaching debut for new head coach Wade Bartholomew, who came to Olentangy in the offseason from Bloom-Carroll.

NDCL WINS SEASON OPENER ON THE ROAD
-NDCL  picked up a season opening win over Willoughby South, 35-21. Senior Burke Buell (121 yards) and sophomore Angelo Tamburrino (100) combined for 221 yards on 31 carries, they added three touchdowns as well. Senior Brandon Smul had three receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. 

NEXT WEEK 
The Lions will travel to Kenston for a county rivalry matchup with the Bombers. The Bombers made a deep playoff run last season and return one of the top quarterback-wide receiver combinations in the area (Nikko Georgiou and Sean Patrick. Kenston won last season at Lion Stadium, 35-23.
