This summer Athletic Director Mr. Nick Carillon will move down the Chapel hallway to join Mr. Tom Conkey as a campus minister. Mr. Carillon's deep love for the Lord led him to ask Principal Mr. Joseph A. Waler for this new ministry of service in our school community.

"Nothing is more important to me than leading people to Christ," Mr. Carillon explained. "I am looking forward to working with Mr. Conkey, Chaplain Father Jim Caddy, and all of our students in NDCL's vibrant, impactful campus ministry program."

Mr. Waler has promoted Mr. Jason Baxter, our associate athletic director, as NDCL's next athletic director, effective July 1. Before joining NDCL in 2021, Mr. Baxter served as the athletic director of Lakeside High School in Ashtabula.

"I'm extremely excited at the opportunity to lead the NDCL Athletic Department," Mr. Baxter said. "Since joining this community, I have learned what makes NDCL such a great place—and that's why this new role is such a great fit for me personally and professionally."

"I will continue to work hard every day to ensure our student-athletes are provided a first-class athletic experience on this incredible campus," Mr. Baxter stressed.

"NDCL is blessed by the generous service and professional dedication of Mr. Baxter and Mr. Carillon," Mr. Waler said. "All of us will benefit from their impact on our athletic and campus ministry programs."
