Congratulations to the NDCL Girls Volleyball program on claiming their seventh straight district title last night in a 3-0 dominant victory over Canfield!

Last night, the Lions faced fifth-seeded Canfield at Girard High School for a trip to the regional semifinal on the line. NDCL and Canfield battled in a back-and-forth first set of play. The Lions kept their composure to take set one 28-26. In the final two sets, NDCL took control and found their groove, winning set two 25-12 and set three 25-14.
Three starters for the Lions recorded new statistical season and career-highs in the game in Mia Moissis (16 kills, 25 digs, two blocks), Grace Daniels (50 assists, seven kills), and Frankie Brkic (17 kills, eight assists, two blocks). Audra Smith recorded a team-high with three blocks to go along with four kills. Abby Tolin led the Lions defense once again with a game-high of 17 digs and two aces.
