Wesley Jacobson, Sophomore – Boys Basketball: Jacobson scored in double digits off the bench in two games this week for the Lions. The sophomore tallied ten points against Holy Name on Monday and notched a new career-high 11 points in the teams' sectional final win over Akron East on Friday.
Emma Clayton & Lila Baeslach, Senior Duo – Girls Basketball: The senior post duo scored six points each in the Lions' loss to Copley in the district semifinal.
Brooke Dynes, Junior – Girls Swimming: Dynes finished seventh in her heat with a time of 1:06.14 in the 100-yard breaststroke in prelims on Thursday to advance to Friday's state final. In Friday's state final, Dynes took eighth place in the event and finished with a time of 1:07.03.
Tucker Pason, Senior – Wrestling: Pason will make his third appearance at the district tournament at 126-pounds. Pason received a first-round bye and finished the day 2-1 to place second overall at sectionals.
Nick Barna, Freshman – Wrestling:
Nick Barna finished fourth in the 144-pound weight class to move on to the district tournament. The freshman went 3-2 in his sectional matches.
Joe Prosuch, Freshman – Wrestling: Prosuch finished in second place in the 106-pound weight class at the sectional tournament to advance to districts. The freshman went 4-1 in his sectional matches.
Emilee Gruss, Freshman – Girls Indoor Track: Gruss led the Girls Indoor Track team with the top individual finish once again, taking 12
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.71 at the NEOITC All-Star Meet.
Brennen Burke, Senior – Boys Indoor Track: Senior Brennen Burke took sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.58, the top individual finish for the Lions at the NEOITC All-Star Meet.
Ava Lewandowski, Junior – Girls Gymnastics: Lewandowski led the Lions at the district meet finishing 20th out of 130 gymnasts in the vault event.
