NDCL Athletics Top Performers: Week of March 23rd

Boys Volleyball team – The Boys Volleyball team defeated Cleveland Central Catholic at home in straight sets 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-20) in game one of the regular season on Monday. The Lions start the 2026 1-0 for the first time in the program's four-year history.  

Macey Beers, Senior – Girls Lacrosse: Beers led the tea
m with 10 goals scored in just three games this week, matching her career-high of five goals in the team's 10-8 historic win over Chardon. The standout senior has scored 22 goals in five games played so far this season. Beers has been the focal point of the Lions' offense to start the season and has been unstoppable for the opposing team's defense. 

Fallon 
Campolieti, Junior – Girls Lacrosse: Campolieti's defensive heroics in goal fueled the Lions' 3-0 week with impressive wins over Chardon (10-8), Gilmour (14-4), and Holy Name (18-3). The junior goalie recorded a career-high 11 saves versus Chardon and 19 total saves across three games.  

Maggie Kane, Senior – Girls Lacrosse: Kane scored a game and career-high of four goals in the team's 14-4 win over Gilmour and a three-goal hat trick in a dominant 18-3 victory
 against Holy Name. The senior scored nine goals in three games this week and has been an important piece to the Lions' 5-1 start to the season, the best in school history.  

Ryder Gorman, Junior – Boys Lacrosse: Gorman tallied a team and career-high of four goals in the Lions' first win of the season over Benedictine 10-2. In two games this week, Gorma
n led the team with a total of five goals.
