NDCL Athletics Top Performers: Week of May 4th

Christian Bittner, Senior – Boys Tennis: Bittner led the Lions in Thursday's NCC Championships, bringing home first team honors and finishing second place in the first doubles tournament.  

Jack Montague, Senior – Baseball: In NDCL's 2-1 home conference win over Holy Name, Montague earned the win on the mound with a season-high 11 strikeouts
and just one earned run. 

Keenan Ryans, Senior – Baseball: Ryans had a season-best game for the Lions in the team's 10-7 win at Hawken on Thursday
. The senior logged two hits on five at-bats with two runs scored and two RBI.  

Alex
Mould, Senior – Softball: Mould earned her 12th win of the season for the Lions in the team's 5-0 shutout win over Padua on Senior Night. The senior pitcher struck out ten batters with no earned runs and just one hit in seven innings.  

Becca Wooke, Junior – Softball:
Mould led the Lions offensively in their 5-0 home win over Padua. Wooke went 2-3 in her at-bats with a double and one RBI.  

Alex Jaworski, Senior – Boys Lacrosse: In NDCL's big 14-3 win over Southeast on Senior Day, Jaworski recorded a career and game-high of seven goals in the game. Jaworski
scored a total of ten goals in three games this week. 

Macey Beers, Senior – Girls Lacrosse: Beers paced the Lions
with a team-high four goals in their 13-10 win over Lake Catholic to claim the 2026 NCC title, the first in school history. Beers has scored three or more goals in 12 of the team's 15 regular season games. 

Rob Bonchak & Casey McInnerney, Senior/Junior Duo – Boys Track & Field:
Bonchak and McInnerney led the Lions at Wednesday's North Coast Conference Meet with three individual conference titles each. Bonchak won in the 200m dash, 400m dash,
and 4x400m relay. McInnerney took first in the long jump, 100m dash, and 4x400m relay.  

Zoey Myers, Junior – Girls Track & Field: Myers earned two conference championships at Wednesday's NCC Meet. She
took first place in the 1600 and 3200m runs.
