Tom Ray has served in a coaching capacity at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin School for nearly 20 years dating back to the 2003 season. He served as an assistant under Dino Petromica from 2003-2007 before becoming the head coach in 2008.
Under his leadership the Lions have won two state championships (2014, 2015) and finished as runner-up in 2020. They have also appeared in 10 straight District Championships.
Ray has won over 200 in games in his career and has built NDCL into one of the area’s top programs.
He began his coaching career as part of the St. Ignatius Boys Volleyball program coaching staff in 2003. He remains heavily involved in Junior Olympic Volleyball.
He currently resides in Louisville, Ohio.
