SAINT JOSEPH ACADEMY BEATS MENTOR 3-0, PLAYS NDCL IN REGIONAL FINAL  
Saint Joseph Academy defeated Mentor 3-0 in their Regional Semifinal game Thursday night, November 2. The Jaguars dominated the Cardinals in three sets, winning 25-19, 25-12, and 25-10.

Saint Joseph Academy was led on offense by Annabelle Groomes with nine kills and five aces and Olivia Castelluccio dished out 18 assists on the night. Defensively, Clare O'Malley and Hannah Foor had two blocks a piece and libero Avery Anders had 14 digs. 
 
NDCL PLAYING IN THEIR SECOND-STRAIGHT REGIONAL FINAL GAME 
The Lions will take on the Saint Joseph Academy Jaguars in the OHSAA DI Regional Final match on Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 PM. NDCL Volleyball has dominated offensively and defensively in the OHSAA Postseason Tournament play. They enter the Regional Final match on a four-game win streak. In their Regional Semifinal game Thursday night, November 2, they defeated Massillon Jackson 3-1. The Lions won the first set 25-20. Jackson fought back and defeated the Lions in the second set 16-25. That would be the only set the Polar Bears took the rest of the night as NDCL went on to win the next two sets 25-21 and 25-23.

The Lions offense was once again fueled by seniors Emma Blankenship and Reilly Parent. Blankenship tallied 16 kills and four blocks with Parent adding 14 kills and 12 digs of her own. McKenna Morrison had eight kills and nine digs and Abby Tolin led the defense with 18 digs. 

The winner of NDCL vs Saint Joseph Academy will advance to the State Final Four game next Friday, November 10 at Noon.
