With Girls Soccer's 7-0 dominant shutout on Lake Catholic, they have won the first-ever North Coast Conference Championship!
The Lions sealed the conference title with last night's win over Lake Catholic to finish 5-1 in NCC play. They finished the regular season with an overall record of 8-5-3.
Pamela Malone has brought her winning ways to NDCL in her first season as head coach, leading the Lions to their first conference championship since 2019.
In the Lions' 7-0 championship victory on Senior Night, four different players scored goals in the game. Freshman

Dria Duqum led the Lions with a game and season-high two goals apiece. Junior

Sadie Wurm executed her eighth shutout in goal this season.
The Lions only lost one conference game this season 2-1 to Beaumont. They impressively defeated the other five NCC opponents in Padua (4-3), Elyria Catholic (5-0), CVCA (1-0), Holy Name (3-0), and Lake Catholic (7-0).
NDCL Girls Soccer will be back in action on October 14th for their opening match in the OHSAA Tournament. They will face the Gilmour Academy Lancers on Monday at 7:00 PM at Gilmour Academy.
The Lions will look to continue their regular season success into the state tournament.
