LAST WEEK 

Varsity Football dropped their week nine contest to Padua on the road 38-21. Quarterback Ryan Lipowski threw for 158 yards and completed 22 of his 36 passes for one touchdown. His touchdown pass was caught by senior Connor Hernan who caught eight catches for 49 yards. Angelo Tamburrino led the Lions' running back core with 12 carries for 65 yards. Junior Brendan Hernan and sophomore Joey Penny put together a solid night defensively. Hernan had five tackles, two for a loss along with one sack. Penny had five tackles, three for a loss with one interception. The Lions will wrap up their 2024 regular season campaign this Friday night versus Lake Catholic on Senior Night. 

 

The Lions await their opponent that they will play in the first round of the OHSAA tournament. They will play next Friday, November 1st. Opponent and location are TBA. The tournament draw is Saturday, October 26th after the 2024 regular season concludes.
