LAST WEEK
Varsity Football fell 28-17 in their final regular season game of 2024. The Lions battled the Cougars through four quarters but came up just short in the end as Lake Catholic executed a game-clinching touchdown drive with 2:30 to go in the game. Senior
Angelo Tamburrino led the Lions on both sides of the field in the game. On offense, he had 56 yards on 14 carries and rushed for one touchdown. On defense he had nine tackles and five tackles for loss. Quarterback
Ryan Lipowski completed 17-27 passes for 174 yards and one touchdown. His touchdown pass was caught by
Casey McInnerney on a 42-yard bomb. McInnerney caught four passes in the game for 94 yards.
Brayden Buell also put together a solid night defensively with nine tackles and four tackles for loss. The Lions conclude the 2024 regular season with a record of 5-5.
