Rob Bonchak is your 2024 STATE CHAMPION in the 400M Dash! Bonchak finished first of eight competitors in the 400M Dash, with a time of 48.48, topping his own school record. Bonchak hit a second gear in the final stretch of the race, coming from behind and nailing a textbook lean to secure the win by two one-hundredths of a second. Bonchak is the second individual State Champion in NDCL history, joining Brian Bates' 800M Run crown in 2022. Bonchak was also part of the 4x400 Meter Relay team that finished as the State Runner-Up. As a sophomore, Bonchak brought home a gold and silver state medal!
