Three student-athletes from NDCL Football have earned Division IV All-Ohio recognition for the 2025 season. Seniors Ryan Cvitkovic (K), Brendan Hernan (DL), and Caiden Kovacs (OL) were named All-Ohioans.
Kicker Ryan Cvitkovic earned All-Ohio honors for the second time in his career, this season earning first team offense. Cvitkovic, a three-year starter, went 40/41 on extra points and made 7/11 field goal attempts. His season-long field goal was made from 40 yards out. Cvitkovic was also named to all-conference and all-district first team offense this season.
Brendan Hernan was one of the area's top defensive linemen in 2025 and earned All-Ohio first team defense for the first time in his career. Hernan led the team in tackles (98), tackles for loss (17), and sacks (13) this season. The senior's defensive dominance and consistency this season earned him all-conference, all-district, and All-Ohio first team defense.
Caiden Kovacs, a reliable, strong three-year starter on the offensive line, earned All-Ohio third team offense. For the past three seasons, Kovacs has excelled in his role as the leader on NDCL's offensive line in protecting the quarterback and creating holes for the Lions' run game. Kovacs was also named to all-conference and all-district first team offense for the 2025 season.
Congratulations to Ryan, Brendan, and Caiden on your All-Ohio recognition!
