NDCL Athletics Top Performers: Week of December 15th

Luke Keep, Senior – Boys Basketball: Keep scored a new career-high 21 points in NDCL's 76-73 conference victory over Padua at home. In two games (both conference wins) this week, Keep recorded a combined 32 points, a team-high.  

Brendan Hernan, Senior – Boys Basketball: Hernan scored a game-high 25 points in NDCL's one-point win over Elyria Catholic 68-67. 
The senior scored 19 of the team's 42 points in their second half comeback to defeat the Panthers.  

Brynn Munn, Senior – Girls Basketb
all: In two conference games this week, Munn recorded double-digit scoring performances, 16 versus Padua and 11 facing Elyria Catholic. Munn also hit a combined seven three-pointers in just two games and a new career-high of four against Padua.  

Trey Sweeney, Junior – Wrestling: Sweeney led the Lions 
with a 6-3 finish at 175 in the two-day Soap Super Duals tournament at Vermilion High School. 

Ava Lewandowski, Senior – Girls Gymnastics: Lewandowski led the Lions with three top ten finishes in the team's tri-meet versus Mayfield and Solon. She took second
 on vault and had two seventh place finishes on both beam and all around.  

Nate McClellan, Junior – Ice Hockey: McClellan recorded 18 saves on 18 opponent shots in NDCL's 4-0 win over Bay. This was McClellan's first shutout win of his career.
 

Brooke Dynes, Senior
 – Dynes took first place and set a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.34) in the Jim Stacey Winter Championships on Saturday. She also set a new personal record and finished in second place in the 200-IM event (2:13.74).
