NDCL Athletics Top Performers: Week of December 22nd

Fallon Campolieti, Junior – Girls Basketball: Campolieti came off the bench and contributed double-figure scoring and a new career-high of 10 points in NDCL's hard-fought loss to Chaney 59-47.  

Nic Davis, Sophomore – Ice Hockey: Davis scored one of the Lions' two goals in their 2-0 win over North Olmsted to remain unbeaten in conference play at 6-0. The sophomore leads the team this season with 15 goals scored in 11
 games.  

Nate McClellan, Junior – Ice Hockey: McClellan recorded his second shutout of the season in the Lions' 2-0 conference win over North Olmsted. The second year starting goalie 
tallied 17 saves on 17 opponent shots.  

Jack 
Sonby, Junior – Boys Basketball: Sonby shined in his first career start for the Lions, scoring a new career-high of 16 points and knocking down four three-pointers in NDCL's 81-72 loss to Gilmour. 

Brendan Hernan, Senior – Boys Basketball: 
Hernan scored a team-high 23 points and 10 rebounds in NDCL's 81-72 loss to Gilmour. The senior scored 16 of his 23 points in the first half of the game.
This marked Hernan's fourth of eight games so far this season with 20-plus points scored.

NDCL Girls/Boys Swim – Both teams finished in second place overall in the Heights Relays
. The girls team had two relay teams finishing in first place in the 400-medley (Madalena Fulton, Presley Engoglia, Brooke Dynes, and Gabby White) and the 400-freestyle (Lillie Engle, Engoglia, Dynes, White). The boys team also had two first place relay teams in the 500-decrescendo (Lincoln Miller, Eli Charlton, Tommy Matthews, Noah Scheider) and 200-backstroke (Mark LaForest, Noah Scheider, Brady Schneider, and Miller).
