NDCL Names Luciano Ruscitto Head Coach of the Boys Soccer Program
Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School is proud to announce the appointment of Luciano Ruscitto as the new head coach of the Boys Soccer program.
Coach Ruscitto brings over 12 years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, complemented by a strong background as a player at the collegiate and semi-professional levels. His deep understanding of the game and passion for player development make him a strong addition to the Lions' athletic program.
"I'm incredibly honored to join Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin as the head coach of the Boys Soccer program. I'm thankful to the school's leadership for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to lead this team" said Ruscitto. "I look forward to getting
started and working to build a strong, competitive, and successful soccer program."
In addition to his coaching experience, Ruscitto is the owner and operator of the Cleveland Crunch, a professional indoor soccer club. Most recently, he served as head coach at Bryant & Stratton College in Solon from 2022 to 2024. His coaching résumé also includes roles as an assistant coach for the men's club soccer team at Kent State University, and varsity assistant positions at Cardinal High School, Mentor High School, and the Everton International Academy.

"His extensive experience, both as a coach and player, along with his passion for mentoring student-athletes, makes him an outstanding fit for our program. Ruscitto holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a Master of Education from Kent State University. He also spent six years as an intervention specialist with Mentor Local Schools, further demonstrating his commitment to education and mentorship.
