Wesley Jacobson, Junior – Boys Basketball: Jacobson recorded a combined 29 points in two games this week, featuring a team-high 23 versus Lutheran East. In the Lions' 87-82 overtime loss to Elyria Catholic, Jacobson hit a long distance three-pointer with four seconds left in the game to send it to OT.
Luke Keep, Senior – Boys Basketball: Keep scored a new career and team-high 24 points in NDCL's 87-82 overtime loss to Elyria Catholic on Senior Night. His 24 points included a season-high of three three-pointers made.
Coco Cochran, Sophomore – Girls Basketball: In Girls Basketball's 58-46 win over Chaney in the OHSAA sectional final, Cochran scored a game-high 21 points and notched a new career-high of three three-pointers made.
Emma Surbey, Senior – Girls Basketball: Surbey recorded two new career-highs in both points (17) and three-pointers made (4, game-high) NDCL's 58-46 win over Chaney in the first round of the OHSAA tournament.
Zach Bores, Senior – Wrestling: Bores led the Lions with the top individual finish in the NCC tournament, taking runner-up (second place) in the 190-weight class.
Casey McInnerney, Junior – Boys Indoor Track: McInnerney had three top ten finishes (the most on the team) at the NEOITC All-Star Meet at SPIRE. He finished third in triple jump (39-9.5), fourth in long jump (20-11), and ninth in the 60M dash (7.16).
Lucy Edger, Sophomore – Girls Indoor Track: Edger broke the school record in the 800M run at the NEOITC All-Star Meet. The 800M run is Edger's signature event, and one that she has come close to breaking the record multiple times this season. Edger claimed the new school record in the event and finished with a time of 2:21.81.
Brooke Dynes, Senior – Girls Swimming: The senior advanced to her third straight state meet with an outstanding performance at districts. Dynes will compete in the 100-breast and 200-IM. She finished the 100-breast in 1:04.20 at districts and holds a fourth-place state rank and completed the 200-IM in 2:12.24 and is ranked 11th in the state for the event.
Max Platz, Freshman – Boys Swimming: Platz qualified for state in the 100-back (2:01.27) and the 50-free (40.16). Platz is the first swimmer in school history to represent NDCL in the state paralympic meet.
