vs Beaumont (5/19)- #4 Girls Lacrosse defeated #8 Beaumont 14-9 at home in the district semifinal. Eight different Lions scored in the game in Macey Beers with a team-high four goals, Maggie Kane, Meredith Gerbitz, and Lily Fakult logged two goals each, and Julia Martin, Olivia Reagan, Gia Roberts, and Sadie Beers all contributed one goal. NDCL advances to Thursday's district final versus #9 Chagrin Falls. 

vs Chagrin Falls (5/21)- Girls Lacrosse fell in a heartbreaker to Chagrin Falls 11-12 at home in the district final. It was a high-scoring, back-and-forth contest through four quarters. With under three minutes to go in the game, Chagrin Falls scored to put them up one goal. The Lions were unable to answer in the remaining minutes of the game to send it into overtime. Maggie Kane recorded a career and team-high five goals in the game. Macey Beers and Meredith Gerbitz followed with two goals apiece, and Gia Roberts and Sadie Beers contributed one goal each to the final score. Girls Lacrosse completes their school record setting season with a 14-3 record, a conference title, and the district runners-up. Congratulations, Lions! 

 

vs Kenston (5/20)- Varsity Baseball defeated Kenston 2-0 in the opening round of the OHSAA postseason tournament. The Lions recorded three hits in the game, compliments of Jason Rook, Lucas Marlow, and Aaron Hackney. Rook and Hackney also logged one RBI each. Jack Montague earned the win on the mound with three strikeouts and just one opponent hit in six innings. Keenan Ryans got the save with two strikeouts in the final inning of play. Next up, the Lions travel to eighth seeded Aurora on Tuesday, May 26th for the district semifinal. 

 

vs Chardon (5/20)- Boys Volleyball fell in three sets (23-25, 16-25, 20-25) to Chardon on the road in the OHSAA DII Regional Semifinal match. The Lions complete the 2026 season at 6-10, a program record for single season wins. Congratulations to the Boys Volleyball team on a historic 2026 season and an impressive run on the state tournament!

Regional qualifiers for the girls team include Lucy Edger (800m run- 2:24. 59, 4x400 relay- 4:16.24), Zoey Myers (1600m run- 5:17.82, 4x400 relay- 4:16. 24), Grace Wayne (4x400 relay- 4:16.24), Melanie Drazdik (4x400 relay- 4:16.24), Emilee Gruss (4x400 relay- 4:16.24). Regionals for the girls team will take place at North Royalton High School on Wednesday and Friday, May 27th and 29th. 

Boys at DIII Districts (5/21-5/23)- Boys results HERE. Regional qualifiers include Casey McInnerney (long jump- 21-10.50, 100m dash- 10.93, 200m dash- 22.33, 4x400 relay- 3:32.33), Rob Bonchak (400m dash- 51.48, 4x400 relay- 3:32.33), Brandon DiPasquale (4x400 relay- 3:32.33), and Mitchell Wesen (4x400 relay- 3:32.33). Casey McInnerney and Rob Bonchak were district champions in the long jump and 400m dash. The regional meet for the boys team will be on Thursday and Saturday, May 28th and May 30th at Austintown Fitch High School.
