NDCL names Ryan Miller as Athletic Director

Below is the press release from President Dr. Hoynes announcing the appointment of Ryan Miller as the NDCL's Athletic Director:

Throughout our interview process, it became
very clear that Ryan Miller is a strategic thinker with a strong vision for building excellent athletic programs rooted in faith, discipline, and long-term success. Ryan consistently focused on the "big picture" questions: Where are we trying to go? What does success look like? What steps are necessary to get there?

One area Ryan spoke passionately about was improving the overall game day atmosphere and elevating the student-athlete experience. He discussed the importance of creating an environment that reflects pride, energy, school spirit, and competitive excellence. He also emphasized that schools do not have to choose between strong Catholic values and winning at
a high level. His philosophy is centered on developing good faith-filled coaches and programs that compete with excellence while remaining mission-driven.

Ryan has a proven
track record of building athletic programs. During his nine years as Athletic Director at Lutheran West, the school grew the athletic program exponentially through intentional planning, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence.

Most recently, Ryan served as the Admissions Director at Spire Academy. His background also includes experience as a head boys' hockey coach and hockey program director. He earned his Master of Science degree from Miami University.

Ryan shared the following about joining NDCL:

"I would like to thank Dr. Hoynes and Principal Chris Poulos for the trust and confidence they have placed in me to lead NDCL Athletics. Throughout the process, I was incredibly impressed by their commitment to students, community, and the overall mission of the school. I am excited for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support our student-athletes and coaches, and help continue the strong tradition of NDCL Athletics."

Welcome aboard, Mr. Miller! We are excited for the
great things to come for the NDCL Athletics program.
