The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys golf team earned its first match victory of the 2026 season Thursday, defeating Benedictine 325-385 on the road.

Lincoln Miller led the Lions and earned medalist honors with an 80, the lowest round among all golfers in the match. Behind Miller, NDCL received a balanced effort throughout its lineup to secure the 60-stroke victory.

Hamilton Miller finished one stroke behind with an 81, while Caige Cochran and Danny Zoller each carded an 82. Will Paschevich added an 83, giving NDCL five golfers separated by just three strokes.

Paul Williams completed the Lions' lineup with an 86.

The victory followed NDCL's runner-up finish at the NEO Futures Tour Kickoff Classic one day earlier and marked the Lions' first head-to-head match win of the season.

NDCL faces a quick turnaround as the Lions return to competition Friday, Aug. 7, against Holy Name at Seneca Golf Course.
