Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin varsity boys golf came up short against Gilmour on Tuesday, Sept. 8, falling 168-176 at home.
Lincoln Miller posted the Lions' low round of the match with a 41.
Paul Williams followed with a 44, while Will Paskevich recorded a 45. Caige Cochran finished at 46, and Danny Zaller and Hamilton Miller each carded a 47.
The eight-stroke setback provided another opportunity for the Lions to evaluate their play as the season moves forward.
"Tough loss, but a lesson learned," head coach Edward Trebets said.
NDCL will not have to wait long for another opportunity against Gilmour. The Lions are scheduled to face the Lancers again Thursday, Sept. 10.
