Chardon, OH (November 10, 2022) -- NDCL announced today that Andrew Mooney's tenure as the Lions' head football coach has come to an end.

"After carefully considering the needs of our football program, we decided it was time for new leadership," said Athletic Director Nick Carillon. "We are very grateful to Coach Mooney for his service to our athletic program and his dedication to our student-athletes. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward."

Mooney led the Lions to a 46-39 record over the course of his 8 years at the helm. He continues in his role as an academic coach in NDCL's Academic Success Center.

Carillon will lead the search process for NDCL's next coach. Candidates should send a resume and cover letter to nick.carillon@ndcl.org.
