Mitchell Wesen, Senior – Boys Bowling: In two matches this week, Wesen recorded the high game for the Lions with a 185 versus VASJ and a 178 against Lake Catholic. He also had the high series in the Lake Catholic match with a 338.
Josie Mislay, Senior – Girls Bowling: Mislay led the team this week with a 284 high series in Lions' win over VASJ and recorded the high game (156) and high series (308) versus Mentor.
Maya Rowan, Senior – Girls Basketball: Rowan scored in double figures in the Lions' 3-0 week versus West Geauga (12), Lake Catholic (12), and Beaumont (18). She recorded a new career-highs in points (18) and three-pointers made (3) in the team's 53-31 victory over Beaumont on senior day.
Robby Lipowski/Jason Rook, Junior Duo – Boys Basketball: Both Lipowski and Rook tallied new career-highs in points (18) and three-pointers made (4) this week. Lipowski recorded his career-highs in the Lions' 76-62 win over Geneva and Rook in their 54-48 victory over rival Lake Catholic.
Brooke Dynes, Senior – Swimming: Dynes won her third straight conference title in the 100-breaststroke event with a time of 1:03.98. She also set a school, conference, and pool record with her impressive finish. Dynes also collected a conference championship in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.65. Congratulations, Brooke, on your two conference titles and broken records!
Nate McClellan, Junior – Ice Hockey: In the Lions' 3-1 conference win over North Olmsted, McClellan recorded 17 saves on 18 opponent shots on goal. With the win, the team remained perfect in conference play at 9-0.
Boys and Girls Indoor Track teams – In two meets this week, both teams set a combined five school records, eight first place finishes, and 19 in the top five or higher. An intersection of hard-working student-athletes and great coaching! It was a high achieving weekend for NDCL Indoor Track.
