Alexis Urigel will represent Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at the district tournament for the second consecutive season after turning in a top-10 performance at the OHSAA Division I sectional tournament at Fox Den Golf Course.
Urigel fired a 78 to finish tied for ninth overall, earning an individual qualifying position for the district tournament.
Her performance led NDCL to a sixth-place team finish with a score of 345 as the Lions concluded the team portion of their 2026 season.
Claire Ribic, Lillian Kasper and Taylor Wallingford each carded an 89 for NDCL, tying for 33rd individually. Juliette Racic added a 92, finishing tied for 41st.
"Extremely proud of the team's effort and resilience on the course today," head coach Tiger Alexander said. "We found ways not to complain but to continue to compete."
The sectional tournament concluded a strong team season for the Lions, who finished 7-1 in match play, 2nd in the North Coast Conference, and also captured first place at the Bronzwood Tournament on Aug. 3.
Urigel's season, however, continues.
Her 78 placed her among the top 10 in a field of 88 listed competitors and secured her second consecutive trip to the district level.
Urigel will compete at the OHSAA Division I district tournament at Tanglewood Golf Club on Oct. 6.
