Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys golf continued its early-season progress Monday, posting a 324 to finish third among 12 teams at the Lion Classic.
Caige Cochran paced NDCL with a 76, while Lincoln Miller finished one stroke behind with a 77. Their rounds provided the foundation for a top-three team finish in the 12-team field.
Paul Williams added an 85, and Danny Zaller III's 86 completed the Lions' four counting scores. Hamilton Miller rounded out the NDCL lineup with an 88.
The 324 continued a stretch of competitive tournament performances for the Lions during the opening weeks of the 2026 season. NDCL previously finished second at the NEO Futures Tour Kickoff Classic and tied for seventh among 18 teams at the CVCA Invitational.
"The team is improving every week," head coach Edward Trebets said. "Looking forward to the weeks to come."
That steady improvement will remain the focus as NDCL moves from tournament competition back into match play.
The Lions return to the course Thursday, Aug. 20, against Twinsburg.
