Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys golf put together a balanced team performance Wednesday, earning a 163-189 home victory over Benedictine.
The Lions placed four golfers at 44 or better, with Lincoln Miller and Caige Cochran setting the pace with matching rounds of 39.
Paul Williams followed with a 41, while Danny Zaller completed NDCL's four counting scores with a 44. The quartet combined for the Lions' team total of 163.
Hamilton Miller rounded out the NDCL lineup with a 49.
With just five strokes separating the Lions' four counting scores, NDCL used consistency throughout the lineup to build a 26-stroke advantage over Benedictine.
The victory continued a productive stretch for the Lions, who have competed in a mix of tournaments and dual matches throughout the opening weeks of the season.
NDCL will have little time between competitions. The Lions return to the course Thursday, Aug. 27, when they travel to Tanglewood Golf Club to face Kenston.
