Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys golf used another balanced performance throughout its lineup Tuesday to earn a 169-187 home victory over Benedictine.
Lincoln Miller led the Lions with a team-low round of 40.
Caige Cochran followed with a 42, while Hamilton Miller added a 43. Paul Williams completed NDCL's four counting scores with a 44, giving the Lions a team total of 169.
Danny Zaller also carded a 44 for NDCL, providing the Lions with five rounds of 44 or better. Will Paskevich rounded out the varsity lineup.
The consistency throughout the lineup helped NDCL build an 18-stroke advantage over Benedictine. Only four strokes separated the Lions' four counting scores, and just four strokes separated their five reported individual scores.
Tuesday's victory continued a strong stretch for NDCL. The Lions also defeated Benedictine, 163-189, on Aug. 26 before recording a season-low nine-hole score of 156 in a victory over Kenston the following day.
With another victory secured, NDCL now prepares for its next road test.
The Lions return to competition Thursday, Sept. 3, at CVCA.
