Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin girls tennis capped its North Coast Conference campaign with strong performances throughout the lineup, highlighted by Ella Workinger earning NCC MVP honors and the Lions finishing second in the conference standings.

NDCL accumulated 77 points between dual-match and tournament competition to finish second overall in the NCC.

Workinger's MVP recognition led the Lions' individual honors following another strong season at the top of the NDCL singles lineup.

Freshman Estee Luiz added a runner-up finish at third singles, giving the Lions another top-two performance in conference competition.

NDCL also placed among the top three in both doubles flights.

Seniors Gabby Dempsey and Audrey Kilmer finished third at first doubles, while Aniela Grzywinski and Irelynn Koenig earned third place at second doubles.

The results reflected the depth NDCL has relied upon throughout the season. From Workinger at the top of the singles lineup to a freshman earning a runner-up finish and experienced players contributing in doubles, the Lions received production throughout the lineup.

NDCL finished behind CVCA in the overall conference standings, with the Lions totaling 23 points from dual competition and 54 points from tournament competition.

The conference results add another chapter to a season in which NDCL has continued to adjust its lineup when necessary while receiving contributions from veterans and younger players alike.

With conference competition complete, the Lions turn their attention to the remainder of the 2026 season.
