Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin boys golf stayed focused through challenging course conditions Thursday, earning a 162-176 road victory over Twinsburg.

The Lions finished 14 strokes ahead of the Tigers, continuing a strong stretch of results during the opening weeks of the 2026 season.

Caige Cochran led NDCL with a 39, while Paul Williams finished one stroke behind with a 40.

While course conditions presented an additional challenge, the Lions remained composed and continued to work through their rounds rather than allowing the circumstances to affect their approach.

The victory came three days after NDCL placed third among 12 teams at the Lion Classic, where the Lions posted a team score of 324.

Thursday's result sends NDCL back into tournament competition with another positive performance to build upon.

The Lions return to the course Sunday, Aug. 23, at Ashland Country Club.
