Tony was described as being the true "point guard" during his basketball playing days at Cathedral Latin. In his junior year, the Lions won the basketball state championship. As captain of his senior year team, which finished 21-4, the Lions were Crown Conference, district and regional champions. During the regional championship game against Brookfield, Tony dished out 15 of Latin’s 25 assist for the game. Tony joins teammates Bob Lowrie, Colin Irish, Karl Morris, Ed Washington, Geoff Warren, and Michael Harris in the Hall of Fame. A member of the National Honor Society during his junior and senior years, he is the first inductee from his class. Tony graduated from Heidelberg College and received his degree in Business Administration.
