Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

1999 graduate Missy Martin Gillen was a gymnastic athlete for the Lions and Track.  Missy led the Lions to the school’s first gymnastics trip to state, and in fact the team went all four of her years at NDCL. Her accolades include District Bar champion and lettering all four years in gymnastics.One highlight was placing in the top five in the state of Ohio in gymnastics. It was a small but “mighty” team with four to seven athletes competing.

What are her hopes for NDCL today? That the students carry their Lion Pride with them forever just like she does, and that her kids will roam these halls one day as students. 

Missy carried her love of NDCL and gymnastics from this place to Kent State University where she majored in School Health Education. It's no surprise that she coaches gymnastics to this day for a number of schools and athletes. Missy and her husband Mike live in Chagrin Falls with their two children, Jackson and Addison.
