Hall of Fame
Carrie (Fay) Stewart excelled as a four-year, three-sport athlete in basketball, softball, and volleyball. The 5'7 point guard was a top scorer in basketball, scoring more than 30 points in one contest. She also captained the basketball and softball teams and was honored as a GCCGAC All-Star in both.
Stewart credits her coaches Rhonda Rickelman, basketball coach; Maureen Wahl, softball coach; and Karen DiLillo, volleyball coach, for honoring her skills and promoting good sportsmanship. Stewart went on to play intramural basketball, flag football, and softball in college at Bowling Green State University where she earned a degree in education.
