Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Leo Caito was chosen for his outstanding efforts as a halfback on Latin's last City Championship team which went undefeated in 11 games including the championship game in a 12-6 effort over St. Ignatius. As the leading scorer on the team, he was chosen All-East Senate and All-Scholastic by the Cleveland Newspapers. He was picked All-Ohio by the Associated Press and was honored by the Cleveland Touchdown Club as the best player in the East Senate. He also served as co-captain of this outstanding team coached by Fred George.
