Susan ranks among NDCL's finest female athletes, as she was a standout in both basketball and soccer. She earned seven varsity letters (four basketball, three soccer) during her time at NDCL.
As a senior, Susan was named Basketball Team MVP and captained both the basketball and soccer teams. In recognition of her stellar seasons, Susan was named NDCL's Female Athlete of the Year for 1995.
She received many media awards for basketball and soccer, including The News-Herald's First Team in basketball and The Plain Dealer's First Team in soccer.
Susan continued her basketball career at Ohio Northern University where she earned four varsity letters and is fifth on ONU's all-time three-point percentage last.
