Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Joe played three years of varsity football while attending Latin. In his sophomore year the team won the Charity Game and City title. Joe earned a letter as an offensive center and a defensive back. That team won the Charity Game and City title again. Senior year, Joe was a team co-captain and earned first team All-Scholastic honors. That that had a three-year record of 25 wins, 3 losses, and one tie.

Upon graduating from Latin, Joe served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his tour of duty, he went to work for Republic Steel for 30 years.
