Hall of Fame
Jason lettered four years in basketball, taking team MVP honors his freshman and senior seasons. He served as captain of his senior team. By the time he graduated in 1995, he was career leader in points and rebounds. He paced the Lions to their first ever conference win over Lake Catholic in his sophomore year.
His senior season, Jason was named to the Plain Dealer's first team for Lake/Geauga and earned All-Ohio honorable mention. He represented NDCL in the News-Herald East/West Basketball Classic for outstanding seniors, scoring 19 points and corralling 11 rebounds.
In addition to basketball, Jason excelled in baseball for three years. He was chosen first team News-Herald Coaches All-Star after his sophomore season, during which he batted .419.
