Hall of Fame
Harold Connare was a regular on the 1933 and 1934 basketball team. He was team captain in his senior year as well as the high scorer with 118 points. Harold was named to the All-Catholic team. Connare won two letters in track and ran the 440 yard dash and mile relay. The mile relay team in his senior year was undefeated at the Mansfield Relays, Northeast Ohio Relays, and set a new record at the State Meet in Columbus with a time of 3:26.08. That record stood for some time. Other members of that team were Jack Van de Motter, Pete Sheehan, and Harold's brother Ken '36 who were all inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989.
