Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Janet Polzer Bauer left her mark at NDCL as an outstanding athlete and team player in softball, volleyball, and basketball. A four-year starter on the JV and Varsity Basketball teams, Janet had a breakout year as a junior averaging 13.6 points per game. Highlights of her junior season include helping defeat Lake Catholic (59-38) and state-ranked West Geauga with a personal best 32 points scored. 

Nominated The Plain Dealer Player of the Week twice, she set various records at the Division II Sectional Tournament. Senior year, she averaged 14.7 points per game and received multiple awards including All-Ohio Div. II Honorable Mention. She credits her success to her team, especially Stephanie Likavec '00 and coaches Joe Spicuzza and Bill Whalen. Janet extends a special thank you to her parents for their selfless and unconditional love.
