Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Mike pitched for the Lions and was a key in the 2001 team's run to the State Championship. Madsen's senior year starts on the mound were impressive to say the least - a record of 12-0 with a 0.31 ERA - nearly untouchable.

Mike's awards were numerous, including All-Ohio First Team and NCL First Team (twice). He went on to star at Ohio State and pitched as high as the AAA level in the Oakland Athletics organization. He retired in 2010.
