Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

While at Cathedral Latin, Mr. Ruvolo ’s eight years as head football coach ranks second only to Herb Eisele in tenure. His teams ’ 49 wins ranks second again to legendary Coach Eisele. The 1960 football team was the East Senate tri-champs and the 1961 team was co-champs in the East Senate. The 1961 team played in the annual Charity Game at the original Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Coach Ruvolo graduated from Kent State University and received his masters degree from Case Western Reserve.
