Bob Clark was a regular tackle for the Lions for three years, during which they went 25-1-2. His senior team went undefeated as they captured the city championship before 55,000 over West Tech 7-0 in the Eigth Annual Charity Game. Bob received honorable mention as a sophomore on the All-Scholastic team when Latin was co-City champs with Cleveland Heights. The team was undefeated with a record of 8 wins and two ties. Both ties were against Cleveland Heights, one during the regular season and the other at the Charity Game. As a senior, Bob was named to the first All-Scholastic team as a result of his excellent play on both offense and defense on the line. He blocked numerous punts which were recovered and led to Latin scores. In the Collinwood game, he scored two successive touchdowns, the first on a blocked kick which he fell on at the end of the game, and on the next play when he intercepted a pass and ran it back for 65 yards.
