Dennis Badar was an outstanding pitcher for three years. As a senior, he was captain of the team which won the East Senate Title, but lost the city title to St. Ignatius 4-0. He was selected to play in the North-South All-Ohio All-Star game. Dennis posted a 9-3 record and had the lowest ERA in the state. Dennis was also a three-year letterman in football and as a southpaw quarterback. During his junior year, the team was 8-2 and as a senior the team was 9-1. Badar also participated in track and basketball.
He played baseball at the University of Dayton.
